As you may be aware, CobraProtect is a part of the Coveva Group, a supplier of quality products since 2003. We are a family run business, operating with the highest levels of professionalism, transparency and integrity as both our suppliers and customers alike will confirm. But for those who have only recently discovered us, we would like to explain the current situation regarding our product CobraProtect GermSlayer Hand Sanitizer.

During these unprecedent times, we appreciate that there are concerns regarding the current pricing of CobraProtect GermSlayer, when global demand has clearly led to empty shelves in local shops. Regrettably, some believe that we are using the Covid-19 pandemic to inflate profits, rather than doing our bit to help the country fight this virus. We would therefore like to assure you that nothing could be further from the truth.

Our company has answered the call to arms to supply this much-needed product. However, this worldwide pandemic has also led to a worldwide shortage in the raw materials required to make our hand sanitiser, exponentially increasing world prices together with even higher shipping costs to get it to the UK. We have also had to employ extra staff, increase their working hours and invest in new facilities in order to maximise production. Consequently, this has had a direct impact on the price we have to charge to cover these additional costs.

As a company, we have always strived for the highest of standards. We are a holder of the HMRC IDA Licence, which is required by law to manufacture hand sanitiser in the UK. Shipping it requires special handling due to its highly flammable nature and because it has a “dangerous goods” classification, we utilise only the best containers, packaging and labelling available. More importantly though, CobraProtect GermSlayer is independently laboratory tested and certified to EN1276 to kill 99.99% bacteria, something we are very proud of.

Whilst we are working very hard to reduce the price of CobraProtect GermSlayer as soon as we can, it will remain our intention to only continue supplying our customers with the safest and highest quality product, maintaining stock for those who require it and always offering the best value possible.

In the meantime, our sincere thoughts to all those affected by this pandemic, to those helping fight it and our condolences to all those who have lost loved ones.
